NADDC, PRESIDENCY, AND OYO STATE GOVERNMENT SET TO HOST THE 2025 OYO STATE NATIONAL YOUTH AUTOMOTIVE CONFERENCE

025 Oyo State National Youth Automotive Conference.

The National Automotive Design & Development Council (NADDC), in collaboration with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives and in partnership with the Oyo State Government, is set to convene policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and young automotive talents for the landmark 2025 Oyo State National Youth Automotive Conference.

This significant national event is dedicated to empowering Oyo State youth with the skills, knowledge, and industry insight needed to thrive in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving automotive and mobility ecosystem. The conference is anchored on the nation’s transition toward cleaner energy, green mobility, and sustainable technology, with a strong emphasis on CNG innovation and the future of new energy vehicles.

Dr. Titilope Gbadamosi, Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives (Delivery and Monitoring), highlighted that the conference is part of a broader national agenda to prepare Nigerian youth for the future of automotive development. According to her, the goal is to ensure that young people “gain the technical capacity, mindset, and opportunities required to actively participate in the emerging automotive economy, especially at a time when Nigeria is accelerating its shift to cleaner and more sustainable mobility solutions.”

The conference will give young people firsthand exposure to the country’s automotive innovation ecosystem and the opportunities embedded within Nigeria’s evolving automotive policies. Participants will benefit from expert-led discussions, policy insights, and practical guidance that will help them navigate the automotive value chain—from manufacturing and assembly to green technology, diagnostics, entrepreneurship, and mobility-tech solutions.

Networking remains at the heart of this gathering, as young attendees will directly engage with top policymakers, automotive executives, financiers, engineers, and innovators. The event also provides a platform for exploring business opportunities within the sector, including auto-assembly, spare parts fabrication, mobility technology, and CNG-related ventures.
